SecureCare Technologies Launches Sfax Web Services, Enabling Seamless Integration of Health Care’s First Electronic Fax Record, Sfax

(AUSTIN, Texas – Mar. 10, 2008) SecureCare Technologies Inc. (OTCBB: SCUC), a health care information technology company based in Austin, Texas is pleased to announce the launch of a Web Services integration tool for its flagship product, Sfax™, the only EFR™ (electronic fax record) for the health care industry. Sfax Web Services provides SecureCare’s channel partners, health care information technology (HIT) companies and software vendors, with a simple, rapid and cost-effective method of integrating Sfax into any application architecture.

The incorporation of Web Services into Sfax addresses a key requirement of its channel partners, avoiding the costly and time-consuming IT challenge of integrating a new service into their existing applications. The Web Services tool was developed to accommodate the company’s growing base of channel partners who require a simple integration system for their patient data collection applications. The integration makes it easy for channel partners to quickly deploy Sfax to their client base of health care providers so they can begin using the HIPAA-ready, paperless electronic fax record.

“With the new Sfax Web Services tool, our channel partners can add Sfax into their applications quickly, resulting in a faster time to market and increased sales for both SecureCare and our channel partners,” said CEO Dennis Nasto. “Our partners are expecting a significant adoption rate of Sfax by their customer base due to its ease of use, Digital Signature and annotation tools and the ability to save up to 95 percent of the time and 80 percent of the costs of manual faxing. Our partners’ customers will be happier because they can realize significant cost savings and have new capabilities for work-flow management.”

The company now provides an Application Programming Interface (API) which works seamlessly with the varied applications, operating systems and development environments currently deployed by SecureCare’s channel partners. The newly developed Web Services tool provides a service-oriented distributed architecture for the interconnection of systems through TCP/IP networks which has been widely adopted for the integration of business applications.
